I received an email from a single source that made Thunderbird crash when I looked at it, but I could restart Thunderbird and delete the email. I received another email from the same source, went to open it and Thunderbird crashed again. This time, when I restart Thunderbird, it seems to be opening the email and then crashes immediately, every time. I've tried opening Thunderbird in 'safe mode' but same thing happens. I thought of opening Thunderbird in 'offline mode', but don't know how to do that without getting in to Thunderbird itself. The rogue email was still on the server on my Hotmail account and I've deleted it from there.

Any suggestions how to get in and get rid of the email?
