Whenever i open any link on another tab it changes into a popup advertisment and then i have to close the tabs and do it all over again

Ok so i am doing any important work and i open any important link into another tab and after few seconds it turns into a popup tab usually the Sparta one i have got no idea whats wrong and it has been bothering me a lot especially when i am doing any important work and i also have an ad blocker installed but it wont help either in fact lately it is not really blocking any ads. Previously there were no pop up and due to ad-blocker installed there were no ads interrupting my work please help me out
