Problem to open Firefox every time I start up the PC
Dear,
Since I have a new version of Firefox some months ago, I never can open Firefox after the PC is started. Now I have version 15. I always had to open task manager and close the Firefox application and then re-open Firefox and I can open Firefox again.
Now I finally found out that Babylon is the problem. Last year (june 2011) I bought Babylon version 9.0 with Van Dale. With the old version of Firefox I didn't have any problems, just at the version of 12 or later. When I removed Babylon, I always can open Firefox after the PC started. And I reinstalled Babylon again and Firefox can't be opened again after the PC started.
I sent an e-mail to the support of Babylon and I got their answer: Thank you for taking the time to write us.
Unfortunately the problem you described is unknown for us.
Please contact Firefox.
Is this a known issue to you? And can this problem be solved?

Can it be a problem with any Babylon add-ons for Firefox? Please refer to this article and get back to us if the problem persists: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/773310
I have only one add-ons: Adblock-Plus. There is also an add-ons Babylon Spelling and Proofreading but I disabled it. It cannot be removed. In Plug-ins there is nothing about Babylon.
Some programs do indeed install add-ons that cannot be removed by the traditional means on uninstalling them insde Firefox.
Please have a look at this article which explains how to remove add-ons manually: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Cannot%20uninstall%20an%20add-on#w_uninstalling-manually
