My browsers (Firefox 10 and Aurora 11.x) can only load HTTPS pages, not HTTP pages. My other browsers all work properly. (Chrome, Safari, SeaMonkey, Internet Explorer). I have already re-installed, deleted cookies, history and cache.

I also started Firefox with plugins and extensions disabled and in Safe Mode.

I also upgraded my Java plugin.

BTW - this is Firefox for Windows on an HP EliteBook running Windows 7.

Our content filtering appliance has a module called "AppliFilter" which has a section called "Browser Enforcement" that allow us to prevent old and/or vulnerable/buggy browsers from getting on to the Internet. We (for obvious reasons) do not allow old Firefox versions (like 1.x, 2.x, etc) from getting out - and this is where the problem is. The Applifilter obviously has a single-digit field for browser type, so both Firefox 10.x and Aurora 11.x are considered to be Firefox 1.

I think that a note to the Applifilter provider is in order.

Thanks for your input Eric, even though it turned out to not be relevant.
