It makes me forget what I was going to do once I see it. It is similar to this question FF 4 - Is there any way to disable the connecting/loading animation on the tabs?

I have the same problem except the version of Firefox I'm using is 3.6.15.

what I mean by throbber is:

When you click on a link, the site loads. It says on the tab "Loading..." and the animation with the balls is to the left. That's what I'm meaning by "throbber".

(If you are using the newer firefox versions, you might see it too.)

Any way to get the throbber off? Please help, Thanks

Try to Add code to userChrome.css below the default @namespace line.

The customization files userChrome.css (interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the chrome folder in the user profile folder.

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

.tab-throbber { display:none!important; }
