I have set the maximum size for messages. When a large email is received the following message appears: "This message exceeded the Maximum Message Size set in Account Settings, so we have only downloaded the first few lines from the mail server." When I click on "Download the rest of the message" nothing happens. I have tried this in Thunderbird Safe Mode - same result. Any clues?

Are you using a Global Inbox? I notice there is an issue like this that was fixed in TB 64b2, although I can't locate the exact bug report. Note the 2nd-last Fixed item here. TB 60.3.1 may arrive this week, and it might include this fix.

Fixed in 60.3.1.
