Firefox crashes
Hi, my problem is that in Firefox, none of the videos n the BBC website and most of the audio (aparently the ones that use Shockwave Flash) do cause Firefox to hang . It says at the top that Frefox is unrepsonsive and that I can either close or wait. If I wait long enough it did on one occasion just close the affected tab, on other occasisons I usually have to close Firefo entirely, sometimes needing the help of the task manager to do so.
The BBC videos and audio do work fine if I use Internet Explorer. I'm adding screenshots of the Crash-ID.
The crash still happens if I update Firefox or start in safe mode.
Would be grateful for suggestions!

Remove, then install the current McAfee.
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and hardware acceleration in Firefox and try this:
- make sure you have the latest Flash version:
http://www.adobe.com/special/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html - check for updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration - disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Windows Vista and later)
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/adobe-flash-protected-mode-firefox - disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html - disable hardware acceleration in Firefox

Thanks FredMcD, my employer seems to have prevented removal of McAfee, but i'm working on it...
Thanks for the suggestions, Cor-el. Unfortunately, I've tried all your suggestions and the problem persists. Let's just hope removing MacAfee does it, once I get the system adminstrator to let me do that.
All the above steps didn't help, including removing McAfee. In the end the problem seems to have been resolved by installing the latest Firefox update (I had already tried that, but only with vn 45.0.1 did the problem go away.)
Thanks again for the suggestions.
That was very good work. Well Done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.
