The Profile folder shouldn't be in the Library window inside of Firefox. Please provide a screenshot of what you are talking about.

See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

If you set a Master Password, then it should not be possible for someone who obtains a copy of the logins.json file to read the passwords. At least, that's my understanding.

Use a Primary Password to protect stored logins and passwords

When you do not have a master password set then all that is needed to copy the logins.json and key3.db files to a Firefox profile folder to have access to the names and passwords stored in the Password Manager.

Note that you unlock the Password Manager by entering the master password during a session (this logs you on to the software security device) to access the names and passwords stored in the Password Manager.

You can log out of the software security device by canceling the MP prompt (i.e. click Show Passwords).
