Menu bar cut off

more options

After upgrading to v31 the menu bar is cut off and I do not see the app bar at all. The menu bar is enabled and its bottom peeks out a wee bit. Interestingly, the standard window controls (minimize, resize, close) are in the expected position. Is this a bug? Any known remedies other than dropping to the previous version?

Chosen solution

If the top title bar is missing, which shows the Thunderbird icon on far left and usually displays the min max close icons in it on far right.

Check these: If only 'menu bar' is enabled, enable alll other toolbars.

  • 3bar menu icon > Options
  • select all four toolbars:
  • menu bar, Mail toolbar, Status Bar and Quick filter bar

Tools > Options > Advanced > General tab click on 'config Editor ' button it will tell you to be careful In top search type : title look for this line mail.tabs.drawInTitlebar; Value = false if Value = true double click on the line to toggle the Value from 'false' to 'true' close config editor - top right X click on OK to save changes to Options.

Did the title bar reappear?
