How do I restore my browser to the default settings
I am having trouble with my Go Daddy e-mail account. The Go daddy representative stated I need to restore my browser to the default settings. I have already cleared my history, cookies and cache settings. How do I restore firefox to the default settings.

I'll answer that in just a minute, but first, what is the problem you're having with the account?
What the Firefox Reset feature does is create a fresh settings folder, carrying over your bookmarks, saved passwords, and some other information but shedding some of your add-ons (extensions and themes) and custom settings. This is fast and easy, but in some case you might lose information, such as tab groups, that is important to you. This article has more information: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.
To see whether a Reset is likely to help before you do it, you could test GoDaddy's email in a completely blank Firefox profile. A new profile will inherit the plugins already installed on your system, such as Flash, but otherwise will look like a new install. If this doesn't solve the GoDaddy problem, then there's no point doing a reset.
If you'd like to try that, close Firefox and start up in the Profile Manager as described in this aticle: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles. Any time you want to switch profiles, close Firefox and return to this dialog. I recommend using the default location suggested, and not deleting anything without making backups first.
Does the site work as expected in the new profile?
