Hi, I tried downloading the free Firefox. As soon as I clicked on it a message popped up and said it wasn't compatible with my Mac. My Mac is 104.11 and I cannot afford to buy another computer right now. The screens say it is compatible with MAC 10.4.11... Any suggestions

Sadly, Firefox no longer includes support for MacOS 10.4, however you can still use browsers similar to Firefox.
TenFourFox is an unofficial build of Firefox for older Macs, and so will work on your computer. However since you are using a really old computer, it doesn't have all the features Firefox has.
Camino is a community project to make the best Gecko-based browser for Macs around. Unlike TenFourFox it doesn't try to be Firefox, but instead does its own thing.
SeaMonkey is another community effort and is a continuation of the original Mozilla Suite which shares a few similar properties with Firefox. SeaMonkey is great for people who like their browsing experience retro.
