I used to be able to type a word or title in the Mozilla address bar and get directly to a website this way. Now it only sends me to "Ask.com" to search again. Is this a trojan or a settings problem?
For instance, I could type B & N into the address bar and it would send me automatically to the Barnes & Noble website.
It has been this way for a while now, but I recently downloaded and upgraded to 3.6 - in the hopes that this would magically go away. It hasn't. Help? Thanks! - Victoria

- Type about:config into the location bar and press enter
- Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
- In the filter box type keyword
- Right-click on the preference keyword.URL and choose Reset, this will reset it to Google's browse by name search
For other settings that may need to be reset see http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=5069645#p5069645
