This started when Firefox was updated to Quantum These are things I tried that have not resolved it... shutting off all my extensions. these settings are selected- Options -> Privacy -> Firefox will: [select] Use custom settings for history -> [select] Accept cookies from sites (Accept third-party cookies: Always; Keep until: they expire) I do not clear cookies when exiting my browser. I tried not clearing the cache when exiting.

Facebook remembers my Chrome & IE browsers. I do not like using these, so I hope there is a solution.

Save any FF bookmarks then uninstall FF completely and delete the Mozilla folder and then do a clean install and see if the problem doesn't happen again.
