Been working with my webhost, after installing Thunderbird and downloading 20k emails I couldnt login and despite changing password and updating, it wont login. I installed an icloud account too and that is working fine. I also added the new password to Mac Mail and that is logging in fine.
the error messages indicate that there is a glitch with the software not the server configuration
It is actually dropping the session before the password is rejected.
