When using Google Maps and Yandex Maps pinch zoom causes Firefox to zoom the page rather then actual map zoom to happen which is not what I would normally intend when I use this gesture. I'd appreciate if somebody could share a workaround for this. I've also noticed that single finger pan gesture on map shown in an iframe on a third party web site causes zoom to happen instead of pan, which is extremely annoying.

Hi brrrtenev,

Development for Windows Mobile stopped last year, known as metro. However since it is on Windows 8.1. Does the embeded page have a "user-scalable=no" anywhere. This would block the pinch to zoom if the map was embedded.

However I have also looked at the pinch to zoom about:config entries (see the image), are any of these different?

I can recommend in the mean time to use the + and - icons

Mobile: It does not happen in Firefox Beta. The next update is coming at the beginning of June. In release I am only seeing a lag. Eventually it loads the zoom for the app. I wonder if it is device related. I used a Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
