I want to unistall firefox because is't rning propely but it wn't let me uninstall it because it says it's open on my computr byt it is now, help??
Firefox will open but won't let my type anywhere and will not go to any sites. it also will not let me uninstall it because it says it is running on my computer even though it is not

hello westcoastlove, try to restart your computer and uninstall firefox immediately afterwards.
Even after restarting my computer it still says Firefox is running
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
