Hi,

I have included dictionary.com pop up add-on in Mozilla Firefox 22. The add-on is suppose to show it's icon in the top right corner or the navigation bar, but it does not. And if I double click a word in the browser page, even no pop up is being seen with word meaning. May be the add-on is not working, but previously it was working fine with no problem at all while it was another PC.

Can any body please help me on this issue?

Regards,

Cyberkhan

I would assume, the add-on is waiting in your Tools > Add-ons to get installed (at least this is the case on my PC right now).

But wait! before you continue. Consider the folllowing:

  1. the Add-on does not come from Mozilla and involves a lengthy EULA, which I would neither read nor sign
  2. it installs a variant (or original) of Ask.com toolbar, which is as far as its record here goes, more of a nuisance than of use - see e.g.Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page
  3. there's numerous alternatives for dictionary add-ons available - visit Tools > Add-ons and search for them

Hi,

Your answer helps me nothing. Total things are misguided. My chrome browser is working correctly, where as all settings and add-ons were imported from Mozilla.

Please advise me something useful.

Thanks. Cyberkhan
