My version 7 only provides a history of the day I am at. Earlier versions gave me the choice of weeks, months, etc. How can I extend the History listings? It is very important for me.

See if this worked for you:

go to TOOLS then OPTIONS then PRIVACY then in Firefox will session set USE CUSTOM SETTINGS FOR HISTORY then click REMEMBER MY BROWSING HISTORY below, then click OK to save changes, exit firefox and restart it.

thank you

You say: go to TOOLS then OPTIONS then PRIVACY then in Firefox will session set USE CUSTOM SETTINGS FOR HISTORY then click REMEMBER MY BROWSING HISTORY below, then click OK to save changes, exit firefox and restart it.

Where is the Tools button located? Not on Windows7 and not on FireFox. Sigh!

  • Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
  • Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden.
