The browser says :You're not on the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade today to get the best of the Web!. When I check the version under 'help' it says it is up-to-date.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.

  • Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)

You to go into Firefox "Options", and under the first tab, "General" you will see a field with your current Firefox home page. At the moment it will probably say, "www.google.com/firefox" or something similar.

Click on the button, "Restore to Default". You will see the home page change to a grey, "Mozilla Firefox Start Page". Click on "OK" and your problem will be solved. Close Firefox and start it again to prove what a fine job you've done. :-)
