I type in the information that I am searching for from the Google Search engine located on the Firefox homepage. My information comes up and if I click on more sites a new Google search engine comes up without any information. When I back click to see my information it appears for a few seconds and that new Google page returns.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database.
