How can I re-open the primary Thunderbird inbox window when I have closed it but have emails opened in other windows?

I like to start my day by opening windows for all the emails that I need to reply to that morning. Occasionally, I will accidentally close the main Thunderbird window, and it drives me absolutely BATTY that I can't re-open it again without closing out ALL of the open email windows.

In my example photo I have three open emails, I accidentally closed the main window, and now I can't re-open it via any means until I have closed out these emails.

Absolutely frustrating if I need to refer to something from a past email in order to reply to one of these.

Apparently I can't attach a screenshot as the file size is too large. Bah.

You can press Ctrl+1 or choose Tools > Mail & Newsgroups from the menu of a message window to open the main window.

Ctrl + 1 doesn't do anything. (Is that maybe a windows thing? I'm on Mac)

The only option under the "Tools" menu in my Thunderbird is "Account Settings". Nothing there for Mail & Newsgroups.

Cancel that, I found the keyboard shortcut...Command-1 on Mac. Thanks.
