Having failed the certificate check once, I cannot access the site at all
I tried to access https://web.orange.co.uk [Edited to https on 12th March] and was told on 10th March that the certificate was not good as it was self generated. I tried to explore how safe it was to ignore this and ever since, when I try to access the site in Firefox (latest version) it redirects me to http://ee.co.uk/. I have tried to login through Chrome and have been successful. How do I access/reset the setting/information about web.orange.co.uk? Thanks in advance John

An update, I have today successfully 'Refreshed' Firefox and I am pleased to say that the 'Orange' site is now accessible from Firefox.

You don't need a "certificate" for HTTP protocol - only for HTTPS. Does this URL work for you? https://ee.co.uk/
You can inspect and manage certificate exceptions in the Certificate Manager.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Certificates: View Certificates > Servers

Sorry, but I should have said https!
Tried 'https://ee.co.uk/' and it responds with http://ee.co.uk/, and attempts to access the login screen (on Firefox) are unsuccessful. Using Chrome, 'https://ee.co.uk/' is successful and attempts to login cause https://web.orange.co.uk/id/signin.php to be displayed, which is expected behaviour.
I feel sure that I have set something within Firefox that is preventing me now accessing the Orange site correctly. John

Thanks, I have checked the Certificate Manager and cannot find any recognisable certificate that applies. I seem to remember that the initial warning indicated a certificate with a validity of one month but I failed to note the name down - indeed Firefox said not to trust it!
Any ideas about what I need to change/reset?

Try to delete the cert_override.txt file in the Firefox profile folder and possibly rename cert8.db to cert8.db.old to remove intermediate certificates and exceptions that Firefox has stored.
If that has helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed cert8.db.old file. Otherwise you can rename (or copy) the cert8.db.old file to cert8.db to restore the previously stored intermediate certificates. Firefox will automatically store intermediate certificates that servers send in the Certificate Manager for future use.

Thanks cor-el, I have tried the above suggestions, also combined with deleting all 'orange' and 'ee.co.uk' cookies too. The behaviour is the same. It seems like EE is responding to my request for the 'orange' login page with the non-secure 'ee.co.uk' one, BUT only on Firefox on my computer. Chrome continues to display the correct 'Orange' login page.
So, where can I go from here? John
