Firefox for Mac regularly freezes 10-30 seconds when visiting a variety of websies (Flickr, Tumblr,...). I did a Firefox refresh, disabled hardware acceleration, deleted all add-ons and continue to have the issue. If I visit the same websites using Safari or Chrome, I do not have the issue with hanging/freezing at all so the issue is with Firefox only. This issue has been going on for quite a while with various versions of Firefox. I had the same issue on a previous MacPro, I upgraded my MacPro in Jan 2015 and the issue continues after doing a reinstall of all software on my MacPro from scratch. Any suggestions to fix this issue would be appreciated.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

As a test, disable your protection programs.

I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck.

I don't use any protection programs so there's nothing to disable.

In addition to this, I enabled the Sync function. After doing so, anytime I add any bookmark, there is a delay of about 20 seconds. The bookmark gets added, sometimes right away, however, if I click on any other bookmarks, it's as if I hadn't clicked on anything and eventually the link that I clicked on gets displayed in the browser. If I disable the Sync then I don't have the delay when adding bookmarks at all. Any suggestions to improve this would be appreciated.
