I got my PW and user name from Mozilla, and then was told I was not authorized. Why?
I originally asked the question, "How do I create a mail list" I got an answer, followed directions, and was able to create the list, but when I finished adding names and clicked on "okay", the list disappeared and I could not get it back. Then I went through numerous gyrations to access Support, and finally, after asking for my user name and password and getting them okayed, I was told I was "not authorized" to continue. So now, I am back to asking how to get my mail list to work. Thank you.

Was the list not in your Address Book?
What did you want to do when you set about trying to "get it back"?
You just use it as if it were an email address. You can type its name, or select it from the Contacts Sidebar to use it when setting up the recipients for a message.
In the Address Book, you can select it to see its contents and delete any of its members. You can drag and drop Contacts onto its icon to add them. You double-click it to open the editor where you can both add and remove Contacts.
An aside; if you're using a recent version of Thunderbird, you may have a virtual composite address book named "All Addresses". While this is handy for searching, it's not a real address book and you can't store Contacts or Mailing Lists in it. You need to open one of the real address books such as Personal Address Book.

Zenos -- Thanks for helping. The Mailing List is not in the Address Book. When I open the Personal Address Book, the names of two of the people in the Mailing List appear. When I click on one of them, the Mailing List pops up. But I can't do anything with it. Clicking on the other name does nothing.
Zenos -- Okay, I now have my Mailing List in the Personal Address book.and I have sent a message to all the names. Your reply got me kick-started to figure it out. Problem solved.Thank you!
