Yes it does crash... that dialog only appears if it has. Just because there is no user interface showing does not preclude a program for running.

Have a look in the Troubleshooting information on the help menu and copy and paste the information from the crash reports section here so we can have a look to see what the cause is. If you have not been sending the crash reports, I suggest you do so. Because without them it is all guesses.

The dialog only appears when I close the program. I have been sending the reports. This tells me that it thinks it has crashed each time I close. It has only started since the 38.2.0 update

I discovered that if I try to open the program a dialog tells me the old program is still running even though the exit button has been clicked. The crash dialog then appears sometime later.

So what are the crash id's from the Crash reports section?
