I have been using DownThemAll! ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/ ) for months I guess and it has been working all fine till my last use of it 2 or 3 days back; But now DownThemAll! won't launch at all! I tried to download a video but it didn't launch then I tried to separately lauch DownThemAll from right click menu and also from Firefox main menu next to toolbar but DownThemAll didn't launch at all. I tried to close all instances of FF and start FF again but still clicking DownThemAll icon didn't do anything. I removed DownThemAll and reinstalled it and again I clicked DownThemAll icon with no response at all so since 1. accessing from different menus 2. restarting firefox 3. reinstalling DownThemAll didn't help; What can I do ? Please Help!

Yes, download Firefox 45.0.1 from here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Then uninstall that Beta version and install Firefox 45.0.1. Your "user data" - bookmarks, passwords, etc - will be picked up automatically.

That support article refers to installing an older version of Firefox, not installing the current Release version to 'replace' a pre-release version. There are 4 "channels" of development used in the "cradle to grave" Firefox process. Nightly [alpha 1], then Developer Edition aka Aurora [alpha 2], then Beta, and finally the Release version. Each "channel" is of 6 week duration [with possibly an exception over holiday periods, where it could be 8 weeks - new for 2016].

If your recent automatic update to was to 46.0b1 you must have had the a Beta installed initially. Firefox channel version update within the channel; Nightly to the next Nightly, DE/Aurora to the next DE/Aurora, Beta to the next Beta, and Release always updates to the next new Release version. To change to a different "channel" to user needs to install the "channel" version to want to change to; no way to "jump" back or forwards to a different "channel".

Any particular reason you are running a Beta version of Firefox?

Firefox 45.0 is the current Release version. Why don't you see if DTA works in 45?
