Hello all. :-)

Since the last update, I can SEND email fine(including attachments), but when I OPEN any email, all the items on the screen show up like editable objects, none of the links work, you can't download or otherwise access any attachment, and I am getting a cryptic message in yellow at the bottom of the window.

I tried downgrading to the last version that worked, but then TB would not allow me to import the profile, as the latest version has obviously done something in the profile, to make it incompatible if you downgrade - I just get a message that you can't import the profile, it was created in a newer version of TB......sod off. ;-)

I have attached images of what I am seeing. I have pixelized my email address etc, for privacy.

Can anyone help?

New user here. I am trying to clean out my inbox (over 10000 emails). I select multiple emails trying to delete them. However, no matter if I hit the delete key, the trashcan, or right-click and select "delete selected messages"; only 1 email is deleted.

What am I doing wrong?

In the last 2 weeks my wife Thunderbird refuses to send emails. The attached image is the error message. I got Telstra to reset her P/W, but Thunderbird still asks for a P/W. Using her details on Telstra webmail, messages are sent with no problem. I had same problem back in September, but I can't remember how it was solved. Your help would be much appreciated. I copied Thunderbird folder in on my old computer to thumb drive. I Installed Thunderbird on new computer. I replaced the Thunderbird folder on the new computer with the data from the old computer. The folder on old computer had over 9,300 files. I ran the Thunderbird on the new computer. The old mail data was not shown. I was asked to create and new mail account the new computer. Mail from old computer did NOT appear. What is needed to get all of my mail, addresses and calendar data to the new computer. Hello, I've been trying to figure out why my TB program has stopped responding to the email button on my Logitech K270 keyboard. It calls up the Windows Mail 8, but not TB. Everything else on the keyboard works fine, but it will not call up the TB program. I've tried various settings in SetPoint, 6.9, but it won't work. I've tried contacting Logitech, but so far, they've been no help, so I'm hoping somebody here, has run into the same thing, and figured it out. I mean, why would the button work for Windows Mail, but not TB?

I am getting a message I do not see being referenced here. TB is telling me:

"The current command did not succeed. The mail server for account ray@ganymede.org responded: User is authenticated but not connected."

Authenticated but not connected? What the heck?

I have talked to godaddy support several times. They keep saying "You will have to contact the email provider." But they are the email provider. So, any suggestions?

My account is ray@ganymede.org, I am trying to connect to outlook.office365.com and I have the security and authentication all, I believe, set correctly.

Too many email icons that can't be deleted

I now have roughly 100 email icons with no subject at the top of my screen. I have to scroll left through all of them before I get to the last 12 emails with subjects and then the inbox icon appears. When I click on a new email from the inbox, it opens and the email icon tab is all the way to the right. Now I have to scroll all the way back to the left to get to the inbox again!!. The email icon tabs cannot be deleted because the button turns light grey. Is there a solution or do I have to save the profile and uninstall Thunderbird?
