How can I stop my imported Favourites appearing separately under 'From Internet Explorer'?
Hi all,
I'm running Win 7 SP1 and using IE 11 and Firefox 26. I've imported my favourites/bookmarks from IE to Firefox. They migrated no problem.
However, my Firefox bookmarks are not quite in the same place as my imported IE bookmarks. My Firefox bookmarks show in the drop-down as soon as I hit the 'Display Your Bookmarks' button. But my imported IE bookmarks require a further click; they are listed in another sub-menu ('From Internet Explorer').
Please can someone tell me how to get all bookmarks (Firefox and ex-IE) to show when I hit the 'Display Your Bookmarks' button? It's a small thing, but it's quite annoying that they've imported fine, but require two or more clicks to see them. I'd like them all in one place!
Yes, I am a little tiny bit CDO (that's OCD but with the letters in the correct, alphabetical order, just as they should be...)
Thanks in advance,
Ian

You can copy the IE favorites from the "From Internet Explorer" folder and paste them in the bookmarks folder where you want them to appear.
You can do that in the Bookmarks Manager (Library; Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks).

hello Ian, you can go to firefox > bookmarks > show all bookmarks. there you can select any bookmarks aor folders and move them around to a place of your choosing via drag&drop.
