Clear download history in Fx 8.0 Library?
Is there any way to clear only the downloads history in the Firefox 8.0 beta Library? I've noticed that regularly clearing them in the download manager apparently doesn't affect the Library,in that old downloads are still there:I reckon you will have to clear the whole browsing history but what if one only wants just to get rid of the downloads history?

You can clear the download history in the Download Manager (Firefox > Downloads > Clear List). If you use Clear Recent History then you do not have the choice to only clear the download history. The Library only manages the browsing history and not the download history, so that won't work.
Thanks,what surprises me is that I see quite a long list of downloads entries in the Library even if I routinely clear them in the download manager once they're finished-so by the look of it,the only way to get rid of them in the Library as well would be to clear the browsing and downloads history via the Clear Recent History?
EDIT:I've just found out that going into the Library,then choosing Downloads-->Organize-->Select All-->Delete This Page works,although it makes the browser hang for a while and I would not call it very intuitive.
If you've visited links then they become history and thus are displayed in the Library, but that is not the download history.
