my homepage for a new tab is about:blank and with the new update my startup home page is forced as firefox's homepage, so when i start up firefox it makes a new tab on top of the automatic new tab page unnecesarily. please make it so that you can set about:blank as the startup home page (which is not recognized for some reason in the custom URL thing) or just make it to where you can disable the startup home page

This new setting which opens a new window/tab every time I open firefox is horrible and i cannot stop it in the settings. I look down and have six tabs. Firefox has finally become Google 2, not only allowing but doing everything possible to make me keep as many sites open and running as possible. Its on both my Ipad and Iphone.

I am going to uninstall Firefox on both devises. I am so disappointed in Firefox, it was was always my ally is stopping stupid games like this. Just the thought of using Chrome makes me sick but not as sick as having 6 tabs open on Firefox.

Congrats firefox, you are becoming Google.
