I can't access my tabs on my desktop, but I can on my samsung cellphone.

I was signed in and synced on my desktop version of firefox before I updated my operating system to High Sierra 10.13.2. on my mac. Since I signed in to an updated version of firefox on this new operating system, I have not been able to access my bookmark folders :( I am still synced with my smartphone and I can still access my bookmarks on android.
Before I updated my operating system I saved all my personal data, and did a factory reset. I tried to follow this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data and find my profile folder but it only contains information since the update.
Does anyone know if I can somehow access the profile from my phone?

See if on the Desk top there is a Folder OldFirefoxData if so your old Profile is in there. Did you see 2 Profiles when you looked ? If so then 1 is corrupted and that is why just have since update.
You need to find the old Profile or can not do anything to help you.
If no old Profile then................ If is a complete Profile on your Phone can get somethings I guess.

I only have one profile folder on my computer and it is the new one that doesn't have any data in it. Also, none of those links have any new information that can help me.
I don't understand?? I synced to firefox before I did the update!!! So I assumed that I would have access to all my stuff - it didn't tell me anywhere that in order to retain my information I would have to copy an actual file :(
Please help! If anyone out there has any ideas I would be so grateful! I had so many tabs saved and I am so sad to not have them anymore.
I can still see them on my phone! How does that work??
