Since the upgrade, (forgot when that was) I haven't been able to highlight what I want printed & have it print out. I don't want to print the whole email w/the sidebars, etc..How can you help me fix this?

Don't use the Print toolbar button in Firefox. That goes to the Print Preview screen 'wipes' the hi-lighted selection.

If you want to print a selection you need to use the keyboard command { Ctrl + P } instead, which will give you the "print dialog" window directly and by-passes the Print Preview window. I use Ctrl + P for all the programs I use - it's a universal Windows command to initiate printing - and I don't have to look around for a "print button" with programs that are new to me or that I infrequently use.

The action of the Print toolbar button was changed for Firefox 29 due to a Bug where someone wanted the Print Preview screen to open first; no one caught this regression. Additional Bugs have been filed as a regression, but it hasn't been fixed yet,

Hi lilybug, what happens when you try to highlight and Print Selection on your email site?

Many email sites offer a "printable" format that strips off the site navigation heading and sidebars and has a better chance of printing correctly in Firefox and other browsers.

How you access this format varies depending on your mail site. Some use an icon of a printer, while others have a menu item, on one site it's on a menu called "...".
