Emails have been deleted from archive folders
I have numerous different folders in my Archive section under Local Folders. I've logged on this morning and folders have been deleted and none of my emails are there from 2013 up until 03.12.2014. When I do a global search through Thunderbird, these emails are gone completely. All settings are made to NOT delete any emails from the server (ticked as not until I delete them).

deleting mail on the server can be linked to Thunderbird bu what your talking about has nothing to do with a server, or should not based on your description.
