Ask before allowing cookies to be set, is that still available?
Is it possible to get Firefox to ask before I allow a site to install cookies, or not? If so, how is that done? The help files are completely unhelpful, as usual.

Yes, but I don't recommend that setting. You'll be constantly bombarded with cookie prompts.
- Click the ≡ Menu Button and choose Options.
- Click the Privacy icon.
- Set "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history".
- Set "Keep unti: Ask me every time".

- Settings for privacy, browsing history and do-not-track
- Press Ctrl+F to bring up the find bar. Type ask as the keyword. The first match is the setting you're interested in.
