I cannot load any pages except firefox pages like, help ect. if I try it crashes, also I cannot submit report. it says error submitting report.

If I try and view the crash ID number it says "You're seeing this page because the crash report you selected was held back from submission... ect." but all of them say that and I have alot.

I have updated all my plugins, except Adobe Acrobat because for some reason every time I try to update it fails to initialize. I'm running the latest firefox. I'm running the free version of AVG 2012, up to date. i tried temporarily disabling it, no effect. I uninstalled/reinstalled firefox. restarted computer many times.

cannot figure out whats up.

If you send my crash reports then Firefox may stop sending new reports, especially if all save the same signature.

You can try to (re)move the entire Crash Reports folder to another location to reset the crash reporter.

Is your Windows XP at least SP2, the earlier versions are not supported by Firefox 13.

Once you moved the crash folder did you try using about:crashes

  • was it a new shorter listing
  • did you try clicking on the links that relate to each crash
  • are any now prefixed with italic text
  • presumably you have crash reporting selected as on
  • and have plugin crash reports selected as on

I note you have Flash 11.3 that can cause problems, and can cause silent crashes. (If firefox is able to selectivly throttle what is submitted I guess that is something that would be throttled)

I suggest you try to uninstall Flash Player using Adobe's uninstall utility, and reinstall Flash 11.2 or 10.3 following instructions in flash 11.3crashes. Or at least until you sort this out just uninstall Flash using Windows control panel.
