Autocomplete changes URL
When I start typing something on the URL bar, autocomplete changes it to something else.
For example: I type the letter "h", but then Firefox changes it to a site URL, starting with "www.". The only way I can change that is by typing "www.h...", which is annoying.
Is there any way to solve this?

I'm not clear on what you're trying to do...
Can you give an example?
say you're trying to go to hotmail.com, you type h and it populates with what exactly? What do you want it to do instead?
If you want to just disable autocomplete, type "about:config" (no quotes) in your location bar, press enter and then type "browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled" in the search box. Double click the true next to browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled and switch it to false.
No, I want a way to use it without this problem.
So, in the example of Hotmail, I type "h" and then it changes to another one in the history, for instance, "www.neowin.net".
In another example, since I use the same bar for search, if I type "history firefox", it changes to "wistory firefox"... So it always changes the first letter to "w" (to go to a www. website).
Also, I just tested with every other letter in my keyboard and the only one that changes is "h". Every other stays the same.
Ok, looks like you're hitting bug 678352 which will be fixed in Firefox 12. You can get it now by switching to our beta channel at: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/
Oh, I didn't see that. Thanks!
You can disable autocomplete by setting the browser.urlbar.autoFill pref to false on the about:config page to prevent this happening in current Firefox versions.
