When I open Firefox and try to open a new tab I get an error window which says "Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/9Úº%01˜%1Cm:ÙËÅȵ®Ö¯AÐóqÖ¬7F±éS¿W5." Is this a virus?
I get multiple windows opening with this message. Sometimes as many as 8 or more. I first tried clearing my cache then I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it but the issue persists.
I am using Trend Micro anti virus software with their latest updates and have run a complete scan. The program tells me I do not have a virus but I suspect I do. Can anyone give me any input on this?
Thanks.

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.
