Have you tried installing the Video Background Play Fix add-on available from the add-ons option in the Firefox for Android menu? This may fix the issue that you are experiencing.

That's the idea that add-on it's amazing using it and makes everything be perfect but still no solving. It's something only Firefox does. Very bad clipping while not in direct window, but background. Please fix Firefox! Thank you for helping!

Tried Firefox stable, beta and nightly. With or without add-ons SoundCloud playback in background is with disturbing clipping and interruptions. Please check!

Yes, I am English, but what I am trying to understand is if you have installed any other add-ons in Firefox for Android.

This will help me to try to replicate what you are seeing and hopefully find a solution for you.

The READ and CHECH! I use an Xperia 10 ii dual latest upgrades, android 11. Plus other Xperia like Xa2 ultra dual. Same issues with all versions of Firefox with or without add-ons installed. Chrome does well but I use now only Firefox. Thank you!

!Take note that it doesn't matter if its with addons or not, nor beta/nighly versions. It matters only this site (SoundCLoud) while switching windows or turning off the screen. Also it doesn't allow activation of third party equalizer apps, that on other sites like online radios or YT are woking! Same problem on other/older Xperia devices! Thank you!

I have just tried that same track on my Android 8 device and it played fine.

Do you have many other apps open on your device? I think that the sound quality is being impacted by device performance and us not Firefox related.

Don't be insolent! You clearly saw the proof does only in Firefox! Do you care about Firefox and what my proof is about! I don't have any android 8 do you imagine what you ask, me even?! This means fixing to you!! I am using only Firefox and Xperia and its having issues with Firefox! AND IT'S A SERIOUS ONE!

Nighly updated and nothing fixed in this regard! Please don't take as a joke!

Nighly updated problem remains! What is happening? It's a serious issue as long as Firefox is the only browser with efficient adblocker and good speed! The sample above is the real proof! Please take note of this issues and solve it! Thank you!
