Automatically alphabatize bookmarks would be better than manually having to do it.

When I add a bookmark to the Bookmarks Menu it always puts it at the very end of my bookmarks. I have a huge number of bookmarks and it takes a while to scroll down to the bottom so I can drag the new one up to where it belongs. It would be terrific if Firefox could automatically add new bookmarks where they belong in the alphabetical list. If the new bookmark will be close to the top of the list I usually put it into the Unsorted Bookmarks. This saves alot of time to move it where it belongs. Automatically saving new bookmarks into alphabetical order would solve both these problems.

That sounds rather illogical to me. Automatically alpha sorting the Unsorted Bookmarks folder?

Easiest would be not to use the star or bookmark the page, but to drag the tab or Site Identity Button to the position where you want the bookmark to appear, either in the sidebar or the bookmarks menu list or on the "show your bookmarks" button next to the star.

I agree what you wrote is illogical. However, I did not say that and suggest you read my initial question again.

I disagree. The "easiest" would be if new bookmarks were automatically added to the book marks list in alphabetical order. End of problem.

We can only offer workaround suggestions if it isn't possible to do this with built-in means in Firefox.
