Hi, there are bugs with text selection when using touch. The video below explains. But simply selecting text is really buggy and the bugs happen randomly, long pressing on text sometimes selects text sometimes not, sometimes opens context menus sometimes not. The preferred behavior is to select text and open the context menu at the same time.

Hi, I have an issue and hopefully an easy challenge, but I need and would appreciate your kind help.

My Windows 10 PC with Firefox Desktop installed has all my bookmarks, passwords, add-ons, configuration entries, etc. I had the unfortunate situation where my PC hard drive boot-up is corrupted, so I am unable to boot into windows. I am though able to access all of the files intact, via a USB Hard Drive dock to read, save, and be able to transfer any files from that non-bootable hard drive to a new install.

I did a new windows install with a brand new hard drive along with Firefox, but I need your help to effectively get all of those files/entries from the old hard drive and my Firefox "profile" transferred into the new drive so I can resume like before, and further back up as necessary. I do understand that I should have logged into my Firefox account and backed it up so it would have been seamless, but I am sorry I didn't.

Can you please help me and advise?

So the desktop setting keeps being enabled when I'm searching something it's enabled and I can unable it but what I'm in an site it cannot be disabled in any kind of sight that I tried

I am with Activ8me, that is my internet provider, since your program update my email no longer opens and I cannot send emails, i have been on the phone for an hour with my provider and they have tried many things, nothing ever changed or worked, when I try to open Thunderbird it tells me the server may have gone down or there may be a network problem, if i try to send an email it tells me, peer reports incompatible or unsupported protocol versions and the configuration needs to be corrected, The Techs at Activ8me could not get it to work, they think there must be an issue with Thunderbirds new program, can you look into this please and see why activ8 emails do not work on here any more, hopefully someone can provide for me a complete and easy to follow guide that will fix this issue, Thanks, Ray

For any page I've tried under nationalrail.co.uk, Add to Home screen no longer offers a way to change the name of the icon so every one is National Rail (see screenshot). It used to work as expected, an icon with a default name which can be changed but now it has the instruction Touch and hold an icon or tap Add to add it to the Home screen with the site's icon and no edit field.

bbc.co.uk is similar but cnn.com is fine.

Can someone please tell me how to disable the new Sidebar? It is interrupting all of my workflow on the screen and it is frustrating with all of the choice and customization options in Firefox, that there would be no way to disable it.

My safe downloads are being continually blocked by your Norton Safe Web. I have already gone thru the security settings and unchecked them. It is still blocking simple WORD downloads from clean sources and business partners. Is there a way to fix this? Otherwise I need to abandon Fierfox for another browser.

Although listed as one of the options for default language, the current version of Firefox, which is my default browser, does not accept Brazilian Portuguese as the default language. It only accepts the Portuguese version, from Portugal which, to me, who speak Brazilian Portuguese, with all due respect, is a pain in the butt. I have tried, dozens of times, to delete the Portuguese version and set the Brazilian version as the default language. It works until I shut down the computer. I cannot click links from google search on Firefox (latest version - Windows 11) if they are an advertisement. Even an ad from Amazon from my search results. Example: I did a google search for scrapbook paper from a specific company. Google gives me a page of search results. In the top of the page are adverts from Amazon etc. One of them was one I clicked on for amazon. See screenshot 1. When I clicked on the one circled in red I got the second screenshot as a result. So then I clicked the exclamation mark next to http: on screenshot 2 which gave me this info in screenshot 3. I went back to the google search page and cannot open a one of those ads across the top. My husband has the same issue on his galaxy S7 tab and he hates not being able to compare prices by clicking those ads. I have on my desktop, as well as his tablet the browser privacy set to Standard. So what is causing this? I used to love firefox but these latest 3 or 4 updates have left it a hot mess. How do I fix this? It is not like this with other browsers. I have no issues with then at all. I have the same tablet as him, but it has not updated to the latest update and I am able to click those same links from it. I just ran the same search from my galaxy mobile using firefox 119.0.1 It works fine on the mobile version I am running (I know but this is why I won't update it!). Today I was no longer able to stream movies on Amazon Prime or Youtube. I watch Amazon movies most nights, watched last night. Tonight I got a message when I tried to continue watching a tv series on Amazon that I've watched for weeks. It said I had to update Firefox and told me how, but when I went thru the process Firefox said it was up to date. On Youtube I got an error msg. 99,999 . What is happening?

My second question is, how do I create a mail overview in which all emails from all mail accounts can be seen? I have this function in my Mail app on the iPhone and I find it very useful. Is this also available in Thunderbird?

I try to restart network or suspend the process nothing works. If I could make firefox reopen to it's original state+ cookies; no site reloaded and get back my incogico it would be much appreaciated. ALso everything was saved in firefox since I did not end the task, I dont want to lose those.
