Is there a Norton Tool Bar compatible to FF 9.0.1?
My add on for Norton's Tool Bar Version 2011.7.8 has been disabled because it is not compatible to FF 9.0.1. Is there a updated version available?

Just run Norton Live Update.
This solved my problem. Did have to live update three times tho.
Running LiveUpdate DID fix/add my Norton Toolbar BUT the instructions YOU gave before I elected to update Firefox assured me that Firefox knew there was an incompatibility issue and would CORRECT THE ISSUE AUTOMATICALLY after updating Firefox. Your instructions if not outright false were certainly a little misleading AT THE LEAST!
This experience did little to instill confidence in your product. And I recall a similar experience with a past Firefox update after which I just plodded along WITHOUT my Norton Toolbar for a period of time until Norton or Firefox fixed the issue.
I have run Live Updates a few times now to no avail. I still cannot get Norton Toolbar on Firefox (or those green and red icons for safe sites next to search results).
I have it on IE. But not Firefox.
In my add on area the Norton Toolbar is grayed out and the version says 2011.7.0.8 and the Symantec IPS 3.0 is grayed out also. Both say they are incompatible with firefox.
On another Firefox article at: http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Firefox-9-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/615563
It says this:
- Norton Internet Security 2012 (19.2) Norton Toolbar: 2012.2.1.6 (previous version) -----> 2012.2.2.5 (updated version)
- Norton Internet Security 2011 Norton Toolbar: 2011.7.3.6 (previous version) -----> 2011.7.4.3 (updated version)
I can't get rid of those old versions on the Add-on section. So maybe this is why the toolbar cannot be upgraded. I notice in the "get add-ons" there isn't a toolbar for norton (guess it comes with norton). So this must be an issue with Firefox.
At least it works on IE.
Sure hope Firefox can fix this or let us know what else can be done.
That solution worked for one of my laptops with the same Norton 360 software but the solution does not work on this laptop.
The SafeWeb toolbar was on this laptop before the 9.0.1 update. Could it be that I need to some how go into Norton to indicate that I want to put the toolbar on my screen? Maybe I have turned it off some how?
Update done, and Add-on says Norton Tool Bar is there, however it is not functioning, in that most passwords are stored in Norton, but i cannot see if Norton Tool Bar anywhere
