I want to synchronize email between two machines both running Thunderbird using the BCC address feature.
I want to synchronize all email between two machines both running Thunderbird. I would like step by step instructions on how to set up actions for rules so that bcc'd messages are filed in specific places. See this link (www.jeremyjohnstone.com/blog/2005-09-10-easy-synchronization-of-email-between-two-machines-w-thunderbird.html) - it sounds like the answer to my problem but i dont know how to set up the rules. Can anyone help? Bear in mind I need idiot-proof instructions please.

That's perverse.
Try IMAP first. All of your messages, recieved and sent, available on all of your machines.
Set-up your account on both machines as IMAP accounts. Job done. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/imap-synchronization
