I'm learning about Firefox and have played most of your videos. I'm using Windows 7 on a Dell laptop. I have icons in bar at bottom of screen. I click on Firefox and it opens, but it does not have the icon in the upper left hand corner. There is no bar at the bottom -- no date, time, sound, etc. Looking forward to using this wonderful browser.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden, so you need to hide the Menu bar via View > Toolbars, also accessible via Firefox > Options.
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.
You can place the Tab Bar on top.

Thank you VERY much! I've been using IE for years, but it's Firefox for me from now on! I love it!

Thank you!! I've been hunting for the orange Firefox tab for 2 months! Seller Sourcebook was trouble-shooting something on their site for me & recommended using Firefox to get to their site for better performance. There was some task they wanted me to do & after I told them I didn't have a tab - just a cute little fox hugging the world - their instructions, even for stuff on their site, became very simple but step-by-step detailed like they were dealing with someone with way less than average intelligence. I guess they were because the fix was easy!

Now, can you tell me why every time I run cc cleaner I get a message to close Firefox when I'm not online & Firefox isn't open?
