FF47 has just been installed on my machine (PC Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit)

I can type into both the Navigation (web address) bar and the search box, but when the button is clicked. . . nothing happens.

I have been into the FF options and I can access all of the options. . . exept 'search'

I had the same problem with the last iteration of FF46, and the only cure I found was to clean install a back-version of FF45

WTF is going on?

Any help, ideas or or solutions that mean I don't have to 'clean instal' a back-version, would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Red

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Have you tried pressing Enter?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
