Can the Calendar Pane in Lightning be toggled by a button (Customize Toolbar) or a simple keyboard shortcut?

TB 52.4 with Lightning 5.4.4. on Windows 10 Desktop PC.

I like my calendar to display full screen, without the side panels. There is a button to toggle the right hand Events panel, but no easy way to bring up the Calender Pane when hidden.

It is annoying to have to click through the menu 'View - Calendar - Calender Pane' then make sure that Calender Pane is checked (also the Mini-month and Calendar Lists are ticked properly). Or with TB open to the calendar page, on a windows PC, I can {Alt}+V, N, P, P to toggle the Calendar Pane to view or hide it.

Both methods are cumbersome, and if used infrequently, it can be difficult to remember the path.

Is it possible to have a button to toggle the 'Calendar Pane' view that can be added to Thunderbird's "Customize Toolbar" so it can be optionally placed on the 'Calendar toolbar'? Maybe a future version could include a simple dedicated simple keyboard shortcut that would perform the same toggle?

I am sorry if this is not the correct forum for problems/suggestions to the Lightning extension; but Mozilla Support takes you to a site for Lightning that refers you back to Mozilla Support.

Not that I'm aware of. Your best bet is probably using the mouse to drag it to the left, so it becomes invisible. Hove with the mouse over the separator so that it turns into a double arrow.

You can press F11 to toggle the Today Pane on or off.

Thanks for the quick reply, but it does not address the problem with the Calendar Pane. The pane on the left that contains the mini-month and the Calendar list. I usually keep it hidden, and wanted to know if a quick and simple way existed to toggle it.

Thanks christ1,

I never thought about trying to drag the left edge of the calendar. Funny how some of the simplest things can escape us.
