Firefox should not be crashing, if t is maybe that is something to investigate.

Firefox does try to save Restore Sessions, but if you close down incorrectly or crash frequently they are going to get messed up.

Always try to close correctly, which on an XP will be by using the File option (Newer Windows sytems have the quit option under the new Firefox Button)

If you are getting crashes see firefox crashes

You can also try to update to Firefox 13 to see if that fixes your issue.

Firefox 13.0.1 should be released later today, so you can check out the Mozilla website to see if that version has been released and avoid updating twice.

Hi, thanks, I understand what you're saying. It's my computer that is crashing sometimes.

My computer crashes. I start up firefox again. Then I don't restore session in time and my computer crashes again.

It shouldn't be an issue just to store multiple session information in a file, so one can do a rollback. I'd think this is standard stuff, rather than have only one single attempt to restore a session.
