I have posted a pdf on my wordpress.com blog. When I view the pdf on the blog with Firefox, some images have white lines across them. This does not happen when I view the pdf on the blog using Chrome. The people at wordpress.com have suggested it may be a Firefox browser setting. Assuming this is correct, is there any way I can fix it? Thanks in advance.

Hi all. Further to posting the above question, I've found this article on Firefox help "View PDF files in Firefox or choose another viewer" at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox-or-choose-another-viewer, and have resolved the issue of the white lines. The relevant bit of the article for my issue is under the heading "Disable the built-in PDF viewer and use another viewer". Thanks to the team who wrote the article.

But what about me and other readers? If you want someone to take a look at the specific PDF, you could share a link to an example. There is a filter which will put your post into moderation before it becomes visible, but we should see it eventually.
