First of all I'm doing my testing in:

AMD Ryzen 7 7730u Windows 11 24H2 Firefox 133.0.3 Haylou GT1 Pro Bluetooth earbuds

I'm using jellyfin on web. And I listen to music on it, the problem I'm facing is... The moment I disconnect and reconnect my earbuds, the audio stops, the tab says "PLAYING" but no audio is played, I can press pause and play an infinite number of times but does not work UNTIL I reload the tab, then the audio comes back. Wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact everytime I have to reload, jellyfin does not save the current playlist so I have to create it again.

I tested this on the latest version of Microsoft Edge and it works with no problem there, I disconnect earbuds, audio stops, reconnect them and audio resumes, without even having to press play. The problem is something with firefox and the way it selects audio devices I guess?

I send a screenshot of firefox with the tab "PLAYING" but not actually doing it, and I send a logging file that I created using about:logging and the preset "Media playback", starting when I play media, disconnect bluetooth device, reconnect and can't hear anything

I don't know if it's a Setting or not. it's probably some kind of compatibility add on or extension issue. I discovered that on IMDB, the videos that play on the IMDB webpages for TV shows, etc, are going fuzzy some of the time. Sometimes they play normally, and then the next time they go fuzzy. I can provide video proof if necessary. By fuzzy I mean the picture breaks up, the colours are disrupted, the picture can't be seen.

I tried everything. I discovered that these IMDB embedded videos are 'powered' by JW player 8.25.6. I discovered that JW player is a legitimate company that provides embedded videos for sites like IMDB.

This is an Asus laptop, it is brand new. I added a few other extensions like adblocker ultimate- and new tab tools, but in safe mode I found that this is not the problem. Please can you help! I did NOT have this problem on my previous laptop. Both laptops were running windows 11 with current updates. both have the latest Firefox mozillla browser. edinnick27 at hotmail dot com

Hi! i opened youtube to watch some videos, but the audio wouldn't play. i checked the volume mixer and firefox isn't putting out any sound at all. I tried playing audio on other sites like netflix and tiktok, but the issue is the same there. it doesn't seem like firefox is registering that any audio is playing, as the little speaker icon does not show up when i hover over the tab. i thought it might have been an issue with my headset but the speakers won't play any sound either. i've tried running firefox in troubleshoot mode but that didn't do anything (i don't really know what to do in that mode, but hey, i figured i'd at least try) Also, i opened the same sites in microsoft edge, and they play the audio just fine. I'd rather not have to use edge for too long though, so any help is appreciated :)

Recently purchased M4 Mac Mini and experiencing problems with using firefox web browser to watch movies on Netflix and Youtube; movies get glitchy and choppy from the moment streaming starts. However, audio is fine playing in the background. This problem only occurs while watching movies, no problems with other video contents such as youtube shorts. I have reinstalled Firefox browser a few times to no avail. I have also tried other things such as turning off VPN, removed cookies and review other settings as well as switching between wifi and Cat5 none of which seem to fix the issue.

I recently got a second monitor and I'm experiencing annoying flickering whenever I'm watching a video. It doesn't matter if the video is on my primary or secondary display. They're both the same resolution (1440p), but my main monitor is 165hz while the second is 60hz.

I've read online that disabling hardware acceleration and then re enabling it fixes this. This temporarily works for me and the artifacts disappear. But whenever I restart my PC, the issue returns and I have to disable and re enable hardware acceleration every time. How do I fix this permanently??

I want to know how to adjust audio (treble/bass balancer) for videos playing in Firefox. Your page at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/control-audio-or-video-playback-your-keyboard#w_what-is-the-media-control-feature refers me to https://specifications.freedesktop.org/mpris-spec/2.2/ but this URL is a 404. I contact you because I would like to connect to another account for sync in another Firefox profile, but I forgot my password. I already tried "forgot password", but I need the primary address from my account, that I forgot (And maybe I doesn't have it anymore...). But I have a secondary address that I added in my account in gmail, when I try to connect with this one, I'm redirected to the next step in the login process, and when I want to reset my password, I need my primary email, that I don't have it anymore. Then, I suppose my gmail address should be a secondary address in my account, is it possible to reset my password by sending my the code to this address ? Can you put my gmail address as my primary address ? My actual primary address for this account can be an address with protonmail (@protonmail.com/@proton.me/@pm.ne), but I don't have access anymore to these ones...

i recently noticed that my audio is stuttering a little bit on firefox desktop, expecially on youtube. i already tried the app on incognito mode withou any extension enabled, notthing worked. can be the last Nvidia driver? can be a recent (1 month more or less) mozilla update? can you guys help me please? i ve also formatted the whole pc: nothing

Hi there unfortunately i have problem with subtitles in some web sites when i choose another browser , there is no problem ' also my firefoxe is up to date thanks a lot.

After a Windows 11 update, every time I play some video/sound and stop the playback, my whole computer audio doesn't work anymore. When I reset my computer, the audio comes back again. I tried using other browsers (Edge, Chrome, etc.) and other programs/applications, but this only happens in Firefox.

Any ideas on what can I do to solve this issue?

scrambled video on auto play sites with the last 2 updates. no issues with other browsers or on mobile firefox browser. no issues with audio and work after a few page refreshes
