Hello there :)

I just merged all my CSV files from all my different emails into one big file. I managed to import it in TB, playing with the checkbox for the matching fields so far so good

but

some of my contact have 3 emails, and i need those. so i added a custom field in TB, for the 3rd email (cause the default in TB is 2 emails)

then, if i edit a contact, add a 3rd email to it, it all display ok in TB

the issue i have now, is if i export my adress book back to CSV, that 3rd email information is lost during the process. the "custom" field in the csv field is blank, and the "3rd email" i created in TB is nowhere to be found

anyone could tell me if it's a TB limitation, or if i'm doing something wrong? :)

Thunderbird Mails junk controls are themselves junk - they do not work. Each day I mark a message from a regular sender as "not junk" and the very next day or two later the next message from the same sender is also placed into junk. Why? Is there a way to permanently disable your junk controls. I have always enjoyed using Thunderbird. I have recommended it to friends. The calendar is an awesome feature. When this new system of controls arrived which I seem to have no control over I have changed my mind. Can it not be turned off? Thanks, John

I have three email account in Thunderbird, two are AT&T (bellsouth.net) and one is gmail. One of the bellsouth emails is VERY slow, reading and deleting, but the other two emails run very good, no problems at all with reading or deleting. I have read through many many similar but not quite the same questions in the forum and I have tried every one of the suggested things to try to fix this but it is still a problem. Any new suggestions?

I don't seem to be able to get threading to work for me in card view. I have downloaded the add on and i am still having challenges. Can you help me understand what i am missing?

When I try to add a new email account, I'm told that either my username or password is incorrect. This isn't true. I can log on to webmail using the same credentials.

How can I solve this problem?

I have used the Firefox add-on "Evernote web clipper" for years. Several months ago, I got a new laptop, and got web clipper up and running, for a while.Then, the web clipper icon disappeared. Firefox tells me it is still active, but I am unable to use it. Also, I am unable to log onto Evernote.com via Firefox. Have to use Edge. I have submitted this request before, and got suggestions, but none solved the problem. I am willing to pay to have this problem solved. Contact me at 770-517-5993. -TomB

I added a new Outlook account to Thunderbird and it is not showing in Thunderbird. I added the new email account to Outlook client, and the email is comign in fine. So, its a Thunderbird issue.

I used the default IMAP settings when addding the new account.

I gave it the required/requested "permissions" as promoted.

This use to work fine in Thunderbird, as I have added several Outloook acounts prior which are coming in fine, but it seems it is no longer working now.

Hello, I'm currently using a Macbook Air, Early 2014, that still works perfectly fine for my needs. But it runs with OS X 10.9.5 and Firefox 78.15.0esr, that unfortunately can no longer be updated. That wouldn't be a problem to me since I do a very limited use of the computer, but now I'm getting the message "Your Firefox may start to have problems on January 14, 2025 since updates are not available for this OS". What should I do if I still want to use this device with Firefox to browse the internet? If it is impossible to keep using Firefox, any suggestions for an alternative browser that may still work? Safari is no longer an option. Thanks a lot for any and all replies

In Settings>Privacy & Security>Permissions>Location, exceptions cannot be added. The bar above the exceptions is a "search" bar and adding an URL does not add the address the the exceptions. Usining Firefox 133.0 on the Linux Mint 20 platform.

Good morning there are three or 4 different devices on my cell phone that is linked to my device that is an android rather it be a computer, I pad or cell phone that is using s e SIM card that hacked into my device on line and stolen my identity. Taken money out of my bank account numerous of times. Has hacked my Disney account, peacock account, has created a social media account in my name and in not even on any social media account , not have I ever in my life had a Twitter account. . I could spprrviatd it if you would delete anything associated with my name , Karla B Judkins. My email address galaxyapple1@icloud.com. My phone number 559-505-0769. This belong to me, and not to 5 other people connected to my device. It’s been again hacked. Please delete any and all files immediately. Connected and disable there lines please.

Is there a way to delete an email from one computer without it being deleted from another computer? I have my email on 2 computers. I don't want an email deleted from both computers.
