I have Thunderbird 128.4.2 (32 bit) on Windows 10 Home (64 bit). I want to add a second email account. To do this, I used File> New> Email Account. I entered the email address and password. TB found and entered a server configuration. The new email address appears in the Folder List but has only an Inbox folder after it. The other folders (Sent, Junk, Trash) are missing. Test messages show the new address in TB will send a message correctly except it hangs trying to save the sent message. The new address is unable to receive a message. Please advise how to get the new email account (outlook.com) set up in Thunderbird. Thank you.

Hi. I've recently lost the ability to have a unified in-box. I have five e-mail accounts, all of which are IMAP accounts. In addition, with the recent thunderbird upgrade my windows 10 pc client has moved each e-mail account around (up and down) and I can't figure out how to change the location in the left pane or otherwise order / align the e-mail accounts. Any assistance appreciated.

Recently my outgoing messages have started being directed to my Local Folders sent folder and not retained in my email account sent folder? Is there a stting to correct this

The global search in TB is completely defective. I am now running 128.2.0esr and hoped that update might fix it. It hasn't. I just wonder, are there any older or non ESR versions I can downgrade/move to, where the search is fully functional?

I have not changed my email accounts or my Google & Microsoft usernames or passwords. A few days ago when I started Thunderbird, two Google pop-ups arrive reading "Mozilla Thunderbird Email wants to access your Google Account" demanding that I deny or allow it. Why might this be happening and how do I stop it? This does not occur with other email apps such as Outlook for Windows.

Hi, I have been a Thunderbird user for 10 years. I recently decided to install the mobile version on Android (Samsung Galaxy 23). Everything went well, I synchronized accounts using QR codes, but I don't know how to synchronize folders with emails. I found a couple of pretty stupid methods on the net using conversion to PDF and uploading them to the phone, but that doesn't work for me. I would like my PC and phone to automatically synchronize and when I receive an email in my inbox, it should be displayed on both devices. Is this possible and if so, how do I achieve it? As title, MS defender keeps detecting trojans everytime firefox is launched and while I'm pretty sure it's probably just a false positive its just getting rather frustrating and now more so, worrying that it's constantly happening.

You can help me to skip all this nonsense and help me to once again log in through the fancy toolbar on my Firefox page. It used to work just fine until all the recent "improvements". How can I talk to the substack people directly? They are very remote and I am separated from them by AI which is not helpful at all. Also, all these "extras" are a nuisance. At the moment, I am listening to the organ in Notre Dame which is annoying and distracting. All these new pop-ups are a pain in the neck. Olease don't connect me with more AI.
